ETA: Someone recommended this a few pages back. Seemed interesting, so I'm checking it out. I need to make post soon with good books and authors I've found thanks to this thread

Tale of the Trojan War from Patroclus perspective. Been interesting so far. Dragged a little bit in the middle but has since picked back up (they're currently just outside of Troy).

One Year After by William Forstchen
I read One Second After about 5 or 6 years ago. It has been on my want to read list for a little while. I saw that it is a Kindle Unlimited book, so I’ll dive down that rabbit hole again.

Great series. I’m in line with the library for the new one (fourth in the series) that came out this year.

I just started this book and I'm not sure what I think about it. Has anyone read this series?

Just threw Follett's new one in the trash. Got halfway through it then suddenly he goes on a bit about children masturbating and cumming.

This is the sixteenth book in the Spider Shepard series I've read. Shepard and his SAS unit engaging Russian terrorists in Lithuania.

Sorry to hear that, I'm about 20% in. But I had similar feelings about his previous book; too much dwelling on sex, which got old and off-putting.

I pick this up every other year or so and read it before deer hunting season begins. If you need a Christmas present for any hunter or fisherman that reads this is a must get. y Gasset’s opinions on the philosophy of hunting are a great read. My dad gave me this copy for Xmas 10 years ago and someone had gifted it to the friend only 2 years earlier before selling it to a book store.

quote:Yeah, he really took a massive dump on this series by injecting his modern-left political opinions into the series where he generally abstained from it through the first three books. The injection of kiddie stuff made me throw it away.

I'm back into another Reacher book - Running Blind which I believe is #4 in the series. I'm determined to go through them all eventually.
