I would. That would kill Maggies post-Glen character growth and I don't think the writers will want to do that.
Darryl dying won't push anyone forward like that. He's actually taken a back seat this season so far. That can change of course but I doubt they change anything.

You're not wrong but the current showrunners are post all of those character deaths other than Tyrese and they follow the comics more closely than any seasons prior imo.
They make sure they hit certain major story points even if it comes in a different way like Terminus. I wouldn't be so surprised if maybe Morgan got it but I still think they're heading straight for Glen.

Daryl is probably untouchable but if they wanted to really shock people like Glenn getting killed in the comics, I feel like it would need to be him. Really only Daryl or Carol would shock me.

I agree. Itd be nice in a way if they do change up the death. At least the comic readers wouldn't see it coming.

They didn't use the name. I played dumb with my wife and asked her what his name was. She had no clue.

that's what was great from this episode...you know that Daryl's crossbow is what will end Abe's life...both of which were featured in this episode

Dwight shoots Abe with Daryl's crossbow, causing Abe to fire the RPG wildly, killing Daryl.
