It wouldn't surprise me if they did the Wolves like Terminus. Start season 6 with an action packed episode that pretty much completes their storyline. With the addition of the trailers full of zombies I think they will combine the Scavengers/Herd events into one big battle instead of two smaller ones.

I'm ready to visit the Kingdom. Screw safety concerns, I want a real life Shiva on the show.

Hey guys.. Don't tell my other TWD buddies that I'm over here, I just have a quick question for yall

I can't get enough of this show and was debating on reading the comics.. Without giving me any unnecessary spoilers, can you give me your opinion on this situation? Would it ruin the TV show if I started the comics and caught up/passed the TV show?

I watch the show with someone who reads the comics and he enjoys it just as much as I do, but I'd just be worried about ruining the show for myself

TIA

Also, how far behind the comics is the TV show??

Wouldn't ruin the show IMO, plus you will have made yourself spoiler-proof. That was part of my motivation for reading both TWD and the Game of Thrones books.

Also, while the general path is the same, the comics do have differences from the show. Some people alive on the show are dead in the comic and vice-versa. Some, like Daryl, don't exist in the comic.

i agree, i have a buddy who hates the show bc it differs from the books but i actually like that about it. read the books. you won't regret it.

Do it! For a couple seasons the show went away from the comics and recently has fallen back in line with them. They are different enough to be able to enjoy both while the comics don't fully spoil the show

I look forward to the show so much more now that I have finished reading the comics. I like to see how the show follows, how they stray from, and get back in line with the comics. It has enhanced my enjoyment of the show.

ETA: at this point in the show, you are a little over halfway through the comics. (About 75 or so out of 139).

That's a not-very-funny April Fool's joke. Also way unbelievable.

well you would have about 100 issues to read to catch up, which is a good bit of material to burn through.

I didn't like the tv show that much until I read the comic, and the comic is far superior to the tv show. The only cool thing is that Rick is turning into the character in the comic, a muthafricking badass.

Honestly I would almost say they are two different stories, while a few characters overlap and a few arcs are similar (not the same), its pretty much a different beast.
