The voice downstair pleading definitely didnt sound like Daryl, I also think Rick would have recognized his voice and once he secured a weapon made a resue attempt, not flee with Michonne and Carl.

That's another good point. No way Rick, Michonne and Carl leave a friend behind in a situation like that.

Did the Governor rape Maggie in the comics too?
Posted on 2/26/14 at 2:14 pm to imjustafatkid
Well, just finished issue 122. All I can say is, the rest of the arc is going to be fricking nuts. I want to say more but, I know not everyone has had a chance to read it yet. I think a lot of people are going to be happy with this issue. There's a new clock and it's ticking.

No
Michonne got the Governor back good though.

Nah they subbed Maggie for Michonne in the show.

Didn't the Governor kiss his undead daughter and nothing happened to him? I don't see this working.

Well a kiss from Lucile is a little different than a kiss from Penny.
Yeah, I know. Not that there's anything wrong with that. I wonder if there will be any backlash in the news because of it. I mean...

I didn't like that part. It's like they're trying to piss people off with that.
Posted on 2/26/14 at 10:40 pm to imjustafatkid
Na they're not. I think that's Kirkman's way of being funny.

The consensus from spoiler sites is that tomorrows episode sucks. This is from fans of the show itself. It is why they switched this episode and the previous one, in order to air this one against the Oscars tomorrow night.

I disagree with that consensus. I'm glad they spent some time exploring Beth and Daryl this week.

You think with the way that episode went that they really could go the Dwight Holly route with Beth/Daryl. IE not see them meet up with the group at all. Have our main group go through the Hunters/Alexandria arc while Daryl attaches himself to the Saviors?

I was starting to consider that during last night's episode. Make it more believable for there to be an "inside man" in Negan's camp. It would also make the viewer more invested in what Negan is doing with the wives he's keeping.

I think the guys that were in the house are going to be the "Hunters" and will take Rick's hand in the place of Dale's leg.

Rick's hand is very safe. Kirkman has stated more than once, that he regrets taking his hand in the comic and won't do it in the show.
I really hope we see this season end with Ricks dispatching of the Hunters.
That would silence all the "hatah's" for sure.

That's good to know. I absolutely hated the hand thing after a while, but it did add to the intensity of the governor story at the time. I guess it just ended up being short sighted.
