Leadership/Management books
What are some of the most influential you’ve read?

I’m also looking for books that perhaps weren’t intended to serve as leadership/management books, but the concepts are directly applicable.

None of the following have the words leadership or management in the title, but for me, they meet the criteria of the topic:
Thomas Sowell’s Knowledge and Decisions Richard Thaler’s Nudge
Dan Ariely’s Predictably Irrational
Nassim Taleb’s Fooled By Randomness

re: Leadership/Management books
Have I got a book for you. The Leader's Bookshelf by Admiral James Stavridis, USN (Ret.) and R. Manning Ancell. If nothing else, this book will help you choose which books you want to read in full -- but otherwise you will get the gist of a highly vetted list of books pertaining to leadership from interviews of four star officers in the military. The list is quite diverse.

EDIT:

To answer your question, I last read Turn the Ship Around! by L. David Marquet, Captain, USN (Ret.). This was an excellent read and I found very applicable to my own work.

I really enjoyed Rumsfeld’s Rules. Very practical tips on leadership and management.

Just read Creativity Inc. about PIXAR's process and management principles. It was pretty good.
