Sorry if this is too general of a question but is there a George Washington bio that is considered the best or most read? I’m sure there are quite a few but wondering if there are one or two that might stand out from the others. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I read Washington: A Life by Ron Chernow and it was good.

This. I’m 3/4 of the way through it now and it’s very in depth. Be warned though it’s very long. I’m having trouble finishing the last portion which covers his presidency. It’s a good bit slower compared to the middle portion that was all Revolutionary War

You get your moneys worth for any Chernow biography. They’re all very dense and very thorough
