Does that one have a good story behind it like DCC beyond the dungeon type stuff?
It's got a decent story behind it that develops a bit over time, but tends to be a bit more slice of life overall, particularly to start. The story has a lot of heart and good side characters.

Another good litrpg series. I'm on book 6 I believe. I started this series 2 months ago I think. Hard to stop listening.

I tried it but couldn't get into it. I started the Sentenced to Troll series. It isn't like DCC but a decent litrpg. It's written by S.L. Rowland. This is who the Author Steve Rowland troll character in DCC pays homage to.

I don’t recall. It was book one. May try it again. I already preordered DCC book 7 so I have to kill some time

Already got the audiobook preordered.
This book is damn good, I'm glad it's still obscure and a lot of the audiobook waiters won't get spoiled as easy as big movies. Really glad I didn't wait though, they have something really awesome to look forward to in February.

Just finished, damn I couldn't put that thing down. Gonna have to reread it, but right now it's one of the best ones by far. He isn't declining with this series. This book really opens up what is going on in the universe and really adds a ton of questions on top of it.
February and the audio book release can't come soon enough.

My favorite part was the Warlord meeting when Carl realized why they couldn't find the Naga army. Then Donut gets it, "Oh honey, you done stuck your pecker in the wrong beehive.".

Don't try to put too much of a spoiler in here til the audio book comes out.
I like Elle's response to the ball situation personally. The part about what she smells like,

Them all lying to Donut too. Please don't let her

If anyone is through all 6 audio books and can't wait for book 7, I recommend you check out book 1 out on Sound Booth Theater. They have essentially remastered it and added a whole bunch of sound effects, music, as well as redone a few of the non main characters with voice actors. They really bring it more to life.

Yeah thats a really good way to get into the series.
If you haven't ever seen Jeff work on the audiobooks. He did a livestream when he was working on book 7. It's crazy how he does all the voices.

I second this. They did a great job of expanding the audiobook.
