Weird fantasy genre called lit rpg. Never tried one before but holy shite what a fun series. Almost through book 6
Maybe I’m more of a nerd than I thought but it’s awfully fun and the narrator is awesome. Highly recommend

Blazed through all 6 on audible. My wife (non nerd) absolutely fell in love with it.

Had seen it recommended a bunch but kind of forgot about it.
This thread prompted me to start the audiobook. About 4 hours in so far and really enjoying it. The audiobook production is fantastic.

It's a really hit or miss genre, but some of it is really great, particularly as the action movie version of books. Dungeon Crawler Carl is definitely fantastic and is one of the best Litrpg that I've read so far.

I had seen this pop-up on my recommendations and thought it looked pretty cheesy but this thread got me started. I'm toward the end of #2 and I'm enjoying it.

I’ve got an hour left in book 2.
Gonna take a break for the new Jack Carr book on Tuesday but then jump back in.
Really enjoying it way more than I would have thought I would based on tye genre and description.
