Either he is or you busted him for stealing that theory...

We are also told that the Last Hero set out with 12 companions, thus making him the 13th member of his party. I have a very hard time believing that this is a coincidence.
If the Last Hero and Night's King are the same people, it implies that the 13 companions that set out to find the COTF were the original Night's Watch.
So of the original 13, 12 die and then
quote:
He brought her back to the Nightfort and proclaimed her a queen and himself her king, and with strange sorceries he bound his Sworn Brothers to his will.
this implies that there were swonm brothers left at the Wall/Nightfort meaning the watch was already established with more than 13 men. So was he the 13th night's watchmen or the 13th LC of the Night's watch?
Also, Nightfort implies there was a wall with castles for the Night's King to return to, and the wall was built after the long night. The chronology does not match up for LH to be NK.
ETA:

Just found my old theory on the Last Hero being The Night's King and wanted some place to put it all together.
Even though it was already "put all together" on another message board dedicated to ASOIAF? what a lying piece of shite. Can we ban someone for this? Bring back carson or whoever the hell else.

"I just found my old theory..." haha

Nerd Message Board Plagiarism aside, the other big flaw in this theory is that we know that The Last Hero was saved by the CotF
I forget the exact quote, but when Bran heard that his uncle benjen was missing he remembered the end of the story of the Last Hero and yelled out that the children would save him just like they did the last hero.

but just like everything else in this theory, the author of this theory is saying that oral stories are inherently flawed so you can't believe anything in them... except for the parts that support their theory

Ouch
And no, the theory does not hold. Regardless with who created it.

quote:
All Bran could think of was Old Nan's story of the Others and the last hero, hounded through the white woods by dead men and spiders big as hounds. He was afraid for a moment, until he remembered how that story ended. "The children will help him," he blurted, "the children of the forest!"
I think there's way more evidence that the Last Hero is just the North's telling of the Azor Ahai story than anything related to the Night's King.
From a post I made in this thread a while back:
In the Last Hero version, "his sword froze so hard the blade snapped when he tried to use it," and then something happens with the children of the forrest that hasn't been revealed in the books, and then he ends up slaying others with a "Dragonsteel" blade.
With AA, the blade breaks in water, and in the lion, and then it takes Nissa Nissa to turn it into Lightbringer, the Red Sword of Heroes.
The North version and the Asshai version both involve:
1. sword breaks
2. stuff happens
3. New sword that slays Others

So I posted it over on ASOIAF a while back. So what? I wanted to show it to some of y'all without revealing myself on other boards. My bad. Carry on

168 pages were completely finished in Feb of 2013. Not including the 2 huge battles. He has completed a ton more since then. Even tried to submit some sample chapters for twoiaf but was reminded that he couldn't yet because they hadn't been combed through.
Her biggest fuss with GRRM over aDwD? Saying "words are wind" too much in the book

I caught myself saying that to one of my employees at a meeting. I was so glad it was picked up on

That is great news...are the chances high that he has over 50% of it done 15 months later? And ADWD was 1040 pages long. I hope it doesn't take him 8 more years to write it
