Also, I think they're going to have to really have The Mountain do do some extremely vile things at the beginning of the season so that it's satisfying to us fans (or at least the Hodor fans) when he screams in agony for days after the Red Viper uses the poisoned sword on him.

I saw a flash of molten steel being poured in a mold during the season preview...so I'm thinking Ice is on borrowed time for sure.

I'm really hoping their arc this season is the Mountain chasing them down through the Riverlands. Would be an easy way to get them hated, plus could give us one of my favorite scenes in the books that wasn't in the series last season with "Gold on the North Shore, or Steel on the South."

Seriously? That MAY have been deliberate to show the two POVs of the same seen.

Also, just to give you a head's up. I bet he also repeats phrases/epithets as a hat tip to epic poetry such as The Iliad/Odyssey.

S4 E1 spoilers:

Ice is melted down at the beginning, before the theme song even plays. Right after they do the "previously on" and show Ned holding it as the last scene
