What difference does it make how old the kids are? They aren't kids now so being a little older really doesn't matter IMO.
I think if they catch GRRM then he won't give them all the details so they won't know how to end it. I'm not gonna worry about until they absolutely pass him. I don't think he's screwing off waiting on them to pass up his entire life works so they can write the end

The link is a couple pages back. And the article didnt ease my mind at all. I get pissed everytime he is out there doing interviews or book readings instead of sitting on his arse at home writing.

Sorry, LT. I dig ya, but no way in hell they finish those 2 books in one season when they took 2 full seasons to finish ASOS. I still think they'll mash AFFC and ADWD together, but they'll take seasons 5 and 6 to do it. TWOW will surely be out in time for them to write the screenplays for season 7 and 8, then ADOS will be season 9 and, if needed season 10, depending on how long it is.

I don't know, there was a lot of relevant material that was entertaining in book 3 so it deserved two seasons.
Books 4 and 5 have a lot of filler and a ton of book 5 can be cut out simply by cutting down and combining all the POVs in Mereen.
I could definitely see books 4 and 5 being done in a season
