According to the official GoT Facebook page, there's ANOTHER TRAILER debuting this Sunday before True Detective:

As for "What about Jon and Dany?" I think they both have a 50/50 chance at living, but I think Martin would kill Dany before he kills Jon (again). So Jon>>>Dany in terms of who will survive.
There's no way this ends in a happily ever after with Dany and Jon Snow getting married.
A Song of Ice and Fire however to me means Dany and Jon. They are both sides of the same coin.
I could definitely see them both dying at the end of the series

More like disgusting ever after.

That or they could all die.

This is about how I feel on those two. I'm thinking one dies and one lives.
I see Tyrion most likely being the heir to the Rock, but it would be interesting to see Martin go the other way.
I think Sansa and Rickon are the most likely to live and carry on the Stark name. Bran probably lives on as the tree.
Otherwise I'd say it's pretty much a crapshoot.

Can we get a list of who everybody thinks will survive the series?
If Jon is reborn as Azor Ahai (and I think he is) he may live. Of course I wouldn't be surprised to see him die for the "greater good" of the realm either.
I figure Dany definitely dies. I just don't see her ever holding the throne. Possibly just after she reaches Westeros.
I have the sneaky suspicion Arya makes it, largely because we all thinks she doesn't. I also think Sansa makes it and gets the last laugh in the end with Littlefinger.
I also think Tyrion ends up being the last Lannister.
Everyone else? I'd say odds are good they don't make it.

I definitely think Sansa will make it. Her story has a lot left to it to be wrapped up and I don't think Littlefinger will die until the end of TWoW or sometime in the beginning of ADoS.
I would love for the Epilogue of TWoW to be a Littlefinger chapter and have Sansa kill him, or a Varys Epilogue POV and have Arya kill him in disguise and as he's dying to reveal herself.
I think Arya is doomed though, and I will definitely cry if/when she does.
You know what would be shocking and I'd

How far south does Winter extend when it comes? Does it cover all of Westeros or just the North?
Posted on 2/15/14 at 10:52 am to Porter Osborne Jr
GRRM on winters reach across Westeros:
"An average winter has snow falling around Riverrun and North from there. King's Landing isn't rare but not every winter has snow there. Reach is rare, and Dorne is "almost never"

But if this Winter is going to be the Long Night 2.0, it may very well cover all of Westeros, including Dorne.

That is a direct quote from GRRM himself
Posted on 2/15/14 at 11:27 am to Finkle is Einhorn
About summer:
"I wouldn't say that snow "covers most of the lands" in summer. Rather than they have occasional summer snows. It never gets really hot in the north, even in summer, but it's not icy and snowing all the time either. Winter is a different tale"

What about Essos?
Posted on 2/15/14 at 11:30 am to Finkle is Einhorn
About winter:
GRRM: "Yes, some times, in some places. The Mountains of the Moon get quite a lot of snow, the Vale and the riverlands and the west rather less, but some. King's Landing gets snow infrequently, the Storm Lands and the Reach rarely, Oldtown and Dorne almost never."

Have you seen a map of the SOIAF world? Essos's northern coast is about the same latitude as the neck. About the only place in Essos that would have as harsh winters as the north is the isolated island of Ibben, and even that is far to the south of the lands beyond the wall that the others call home.
I think any speculation about winter will obviously be revealed by the end of the series. There's TONS of theories about what Winter means and what all the Winter that just arrived can and will do.
Edit: here's a good picture I found for reference

We have been invaded by The Others on the M/TV Board.
Posted on 2/15/14 at 12:00 pm to BluegrassBelle
I'm creating and bumping GoT threads in an attempt to defend the board. We are outnumbered currently, but must continue to fight.

Thanks for bumping them PsychTiger. Usually I'm the one who always bumping this thread every damn day.
As for "winter", I still think since this winter is going to be bad and the Others are going to take over that it's going to stretch down to Dorne.

If ice can reach south LA and Miss, it can reach Dorne.

Agreed.
I wonder too if the Others will "bring" wintry weather conditions with them. I don't see them stopping at the Trident (but I do think that is where the final battle will occur); I think they need to go as far as King's Landing at the very least, perhaps even as far south as the Reach, Stormlands, and Dorne.
