So basically TWoW won't be out until 2017? I hate Martin so much. Feel really bad for all of you who have been reading the series before 2011.

Totally agree. I still vote for us to have our separate non book reader and book reader threads though once we reach Season 6, aka the point of no return.
100% think that David and Dan can--and will--wrap up AFFC and ADWD in Season 5 and that Season 6 will start on TWoW material. I have no sympathy or pity for Martin--he's responsible for himself for being a lazy arse frick.

I'm sure that they can and they may even be planning that, but I have a feeling that they will stretch it if it looks like they're going to pass up the books, especially considering the popularity of the series.

I am bitter about Martin. He has no one to blame but himself. I don't think David and Dan should stretch out AFFC and ADWD just to appease Martin.

Found a blog post by Adam Whitehead. In it he says there's hope for tWoW to be out by 2015 and aDoS in 2018

Very real possibility that Robin Hobb had some inside info since she shares a publisher with grrm and let it slip not thinking it was a big deal and the publishers freaked

I don't know, it's a little weird/something is fishy because I thought that they were all deliberately trying to be tight lipped/mum's the word about Martin's progress with TWoW due to the justifiable fan backlash over the past 13 years.
