She turns back into a badass by torching the Khalasar with her dragon, she marches the Dothraki back to Mereen. Upon arriving, it's no more Mrs. Nice Khaleesi, she starts roasting people. She then takes that army back to Yunkai, roasts all of them, goes to Qarth, roasts them, and then heads East to Asshai. Roasts more people, lands in the Westerlands, and then goes on a crazy BBQing streak making Aerys and Aegon the Conquerer look like cub scouts playing with matches for the first time.
Oh, and she shags Jon in the process somehow bringing about his downfall.

To me, it seems unlikely. Furthermore it would seem that a villan arc would undo all that GRRM has made her to be, and this theory seems to be more of fans trying to out GRRM GRRRM

I actually came to like Mel a bit more after reading her chapter in ADWD. And Dany was okay before her crap chapters in ADWD; she was never my favorite, but I didn't dislike her either. Her ADWD chapters were shite though.

Good question . I'd say she's unforgettable but Dany's ADWD awfulness is that bad to where we forget about Cersei.

Martin hasn't said anything; Liam Cunningham said Martin was 50% done back in March 2013 (10 months ago). Roy Dotrice said last month that Martin told him he has a new audiobook for him to do soon.
