Beta by definition, if not Euron would have been dead on sight.

Euron banged his wife and likely killed their brother.

Agreed; he's a beta because he believes that kinslaying is a 'curse'.

Also....(a little off topic here)
Do y'all think this season is going to be Wall and King's Landing centric, or are the writers going to make it Dany centric? I would hope that they'd make this season very Jon/Wall heavy (and of course King's Landing centric because of the PW and trial and Tywin) and not show as much Dany (especially since her story turns to crap).

Maybe but I do hope we get to see Dorne toward the end of the season.

But he did throw his wife off of a cliff after that, the only reason his brother is alive is because of kinslaying curse.

Doran= beta
Bronn & Blackfish=alphas

His brother died the same as his sister minus the rape.

His brother died knowing he had his revenge on the man that killed his sister and the man who ordered it.

How did the Red Viper know that Tywin was going to die?

You are correct that he knew the Mountain was a dead man walking.

Doran is in league with Varys and Illyrio.

Dorne remains unscathed from the War of the Five Kings.

He poisoned him prior to Tyrion killing him. Oberyn knew Tywin was a dead man walking, he took care of him prior to becoming Tyrion's champion.

You forgot to add Gregor Clegane to your list of alphas. Although he's basically a Lannister robot.

So the Red Viper ensured that Tywin would be on the pot for awhile with a mild poison, and ensured Tyrion's escape through dealings with Varys. Thus solidifying his retribution should he somehow lose the fight...interdasting.

Gregor is kind of a monster though. You have to have some semblance of humanity tobe an alpha

I hope so. They can only stretch out Dany's story line so much.

There is a lot to show in season 4 just in Kings Landing and The Wall, but you know they'll put a ton of Dany in it. From her story I imagine we'll see all the killings by the Sons of the Harpy, her affair with Daario, her wedding to Hizdahr and HOPEFULLY her riding the dragon. Wish they would just leave her out of this season and let the rest of the story catch up to her in Meereen.

I wouldn't go that far, I believe he gave him a slow working poison that would kill him slowly and painfully, see the mountain. Joffrey also getting poisoned and Tyrion getting blamed was a blessing, his words not mine.
