Bloodraven is a mystery to me. I haven't read D&E yet but there are definitely conflicting views about him. He seemed like a decent Hand of the King as well.
As for his intentions now, not sure. I definitely think he's a grey character from what we know of him in ASOIAF.

He was a bastard. He was an albino and had red eyes. He was said to be a sorcerer. So pretty much he lacked any qualities to get the people to like him. Plus he might be the Knights King

You mean the Night's King, the one who mated with a female Other?

Not sure how many of you are familiar with Russian History, but there are a ton of similarities.
Ivan IV, The Terrible, kills his chosen successor in a fit of insane rage. Rhaegar dies indirectly due to the insanity of his own father's actions.
In the absence of a true bloodline heir, Muscovy Russia descended into incredible turmoil known as the Time of Troubles, with numerous false kings laying claim to the throne. Westros has an established King to replace the Targaryens, but not true heir.
There are more that I cannot remember. I found out about his after talking with a Grad student who was specializing in Muscovite Russia, specifically the transition from the Vasilyevich/Ivanovich Dynasty to the Romanov Dynasty.
That's all.

I plan on doing that soon. Sadly Kindle doesn't have the D&E books, except for a 'graphic novel' version of The Hedge Knight. Does Barnes and Noble sell them??
I was planning on posting in here tonight because I reread some of the Blackwater POV chapters in ACOK and noticed a lot of things going on with Sansa and the Hound, the unkiss, the 'bloody cloak', Sansa's judgment being impaired because she was drunk (hence her being an 'unreliable' narrator), etc.

Yeah that one. Not the original, but the new leader of the Others attack on the world.

I've been thinking that there's a big possibility that Bloodraven is on the side of the Others and that he's using Bran because he's dying.
Also, Martin wrote this on his blog this morning (so yeah, hopefully when he comes back he'll continue to write TWoW...one can hope

We're headed home tomorrow. I shudder to think of all the email and mail and work that awaits me. But it;s time… I have started to dream of green chile.
Yes, I am aware of the SOUTH PARK episodes. No, haven't seen them yet. THere's been no time for TV down here. But I will get to them eventually, no doubt. Till then I live in fear.
Yes, I am aware that my football teams continue to suck.

The Giants are one. Hates the Cowboys. Hence the Wun Wun vs. Sir Patrik of King's Mountain bloodbath
