People seem to think that when the reader finds out about Jon's parents, the rest of the realm will simultaneously realize it also. Nobody is taking Howland's word over Ned's. The realm will need proof.

The Prince that was Promised prophesy is pretty well known. If Jon meets the description, that is all the real proof he'll need.

As many of us have said before, people are going to support Jon because of him saving the realm. Being the son of Rhaegar and Lyanna will certainly sweeten the deal for some people I'm sure.

As for the KotLT, I've always thought it was either Lyanna or Howland.

And no one commented about the new Kit picture I found. Where are the women at?

You forget that Prologue and Epilogue characters are 100% guaranteed to die before the chapter is done.

You're right, I did forget that. Ok, my money is on Khal Jhago.

Speaking of Dothraki, what's going to happen with Mago in season 5 since he was killed off in season 1?

Damn, LT, you're good! The series doesn't have to follow the books. The Hodors wouldn't even remember any of the other riders by that point. Mago will die a painful death in the prologue along with Khal Jhaqo and his other bloodriders. It is known. Whether that means that Dany takes back her khalasar to add to her army, who knows. She's on her period, two guys that she swore to kill violently just showed up, she has a loaded dragon and she's not afraid to use it.

I believe the first third of TWoW will be as action-packed as the last third of ASoS.

Oh, I definitely believe that TWoW will be ASoS on steroids. It's going to be amazing to read.

I don't think the first third will simply be the only part with a lot of action, I think it's going to be a blood bath from every angle. Think of all the battle conflicts we've got going on now.

1) Shitstorm at the Wall with the Watch, the Queensmen, and the Wildings.
2) The Others coming down from that Wall.
3) Ramsay Bolton coming North to the Wall to fetch his bride back.
4) Stannis outside of Winterfell.
5) Aegon taking over Storm's End.
6) Euron invading the Reach
7) The Brotherhood Without Banners going nuts on the Freys
8) Meereen is in a hellstorm due to released dragons.
9) Meereen is being invaded by Yunkai and their sell swords.
10) Victarion is also coming to invade Yunkai to fetch dragons and Dany.

Quite a bit of conflict and sides there, plus some new ones that will likely present themselves, particullarly when Dorne and the Vale pick a side.

And here's my death list for WoW. It's going to end with a lot of characters getting killed:

1) Cersei- Killed by Jaime for the death of Tommen, Brienne, and the attempt to light King's Landing on fire.
2) Barristan- Sacrifices himself for Dany
3) Theon- Sacrifices himself in order to temporarily stop the Others
4) Victarion- Killed by Drogon.
5) Aeron- Murdered by the Crow's Eye.
6) Brienne- Killed by knights sent by Cersei
7) Myrcella- Killed by agents of either Varys or Littlefinger
8) Tommen- Poisoned by either Margeary or Cersei herself
9) Qyburn- Killed by Aegon's forces
10) Robert Strong- Killed by the Hound in trial by combat
11) Roose Bolton- Murdered by Manderly's men when Ramsay takes a large portion of the army out of Winterfell
12) Ramsay Bolton- Taken away by the Others or killed by Jon Snow
13) Walder Frey and almost all the rest- Killed by Littlefinger and Sansa's forces, as well as Lady Stoneheart's in Riverrun.
14) Lady Stoneheart- I just don't see her surviving to the final novel.
15) Dany's Husband (don't feel like spelling it)- Killed by either the Wise Masters, the Sons of the Harpy, or one of Dany's dragons.
16) Stannis Baratheon- Dies in battle with the Others.
17) Melisandre- Sacrifices herself for Jon Snow
18) Jon Connington- Murdered by Varys once he figures out who Aegon really is.
19) Bowen Marsh- Killed by either Wildings or Jon Snow.
20) Sweetrobin- Smothered in his sleep by either Littlefinger or Sansa.
21) Jojen Reed- Killed by the Children of the Forest once he realizes their goal.
22) Hodor- Killed in the escape from the Cave of the Three Eyed Crow.

I agree with most of those. Hodor dying is going to make me cry . I can't wait to see Ramsay, Roose, Walder Frey, Qyburn die! I think Walder Frey will die after the Brotherhood and co. kill off his heirs (yeah, there's a ton of them, but it would serve Walder to be the last man standing of his house at age 93 and have no one to inherit it).

Sweetrobin will definitely die. Those pinches of sweetsleep are going to add up, and I think the controversial Sansa chapter that everyone is speculating about is either going to be about Sweetrobin's death or her fricking Littlefinger. Probably both . I could see Jaime, Arya, Aegon, and Dany dying but not until ADOS. I don't think the Crow's Eye will be standing at the end either/I think Asha will regain the Iron Islands. She's one of the only Ironborn who has half a brain.

I like to think that Howland Reed isn't the only person that knows Lyanna was pregnant and gave birth. Or, at least, there might be others that have a notion of it. I mean, surely someone had to ask why 3 members of the Kingsguard, including the Lord Commander, stayed at the Tower of Joy long after Rhaegar and Aerys died. In fact, Ned clearly questions it when they talk by asking why they weren't at the Trident, Kings Landing or Storm's End. So clearly they were protecting something important, and I think it becomes pretty obvious they were protecting their soon to be new King.

I guess that still doesn't mean people would just accept Jon as a Targ. To that I say, why would it matter? It's not like the South is going to open their arms to him even if they accepted him as one. He is still a Stark, so would the North have that big of a problem with it?

Okay, I'm sure that there's already out there somewhere, but we need a TD ASOIAF Dead Pool! Not sure how you would collect, I guess it would just be for bragging rights. OML's got us off to a good start. We need a scoring system. You get points if it's in the correct order, name how they die, etc.

So the death pool...do we create a thread and then as everyone reads TWoW, we write down the order of the deaths and see who guessed the most accurately? Like a celebrity death watch but ASOIAF version?

That's not really a crackpot theory, more of a theory that's been mostly confirmed by Martin.

Yeah, he was the gravedigger.

On the Dead Pool, the challenge isn't just who and how, but when. I agree that Robert Strong will be killed by Clegane and Sweet Robin will be killed by Sansa (Sweetsleep, not smothering), but who buys it first? Also, how major does the character have to be? I've already predicted that Khal Jhaqo is toast in the Prologue of TWoW, but Mago and his other bloodriders are probably first.

Littlefinger and Sansa will free him at the Twins, and he'll proclaim her the Queen in the North as he did Robb.
