I’m pretty busy this time of the year with work and was looking for any good audiobooks around 10 hours or so that I can knock out in a single day.
I use different apps from the library.
Action, horror, some biographies, adventure, comedies have interest me in the past
Political and long dialogue books bores me, and if I’m zoned out for a minute or two I get lost

If you like fiction...
I've listened to most of Kurt Vonnegut's books on Audible. They're just about all under 10 hours. Mostly good narrators, except I wasn't crazy about John Malkovich's narration on Breakfast of Champions.
Also, The Spy who Came in from the Cold by LeCarre. I think most of his books will be 10 hours or less.

I am currently listening to an Audible production of H. G. Wells Science Fiction collection. It shows 25+ hours long, but its multiple books read by some famous people. The first is War of the Worlds read by David Tenannt. And boy does he do a great job with his voice showing fear. The reason I mention this is, they have collections like that on Audible where you can get some classic works of fiction for only one credit (per collection not book). Each book should be less than 10 hours long so that one credit can go a long way with multiple books.

Mine should be available by the end of the month. It's 5 hours 50 min 40 sec right now with just a few small edits.
I will post back when it is live.

One of my favorites is Neil Gaiman's American Gods. The voice actors were really excellent on that.

Robert Bevan's Cavern and Creatures series if you like a bit of the ridiculous. Its about a group of numb nut guys from Mississippi that get stuck in a D&D type game.

1776 by McCullough is 11.5 but worth the read.
All Quiet on the Western Front. I also second the recommendation of the Spy Who Came In From The Cold.
Just about anything by John Scalzi, most are under 10 hours, some under 3. Lock In is excellent.
Hemingway’s short stories and The Sun Also Rises.
Anything by Allen Eskens.
