With all of the amazing current authors and the genre enjoying more credibility than ever before I really feel like we are.

I’ve been crushing fantasy the last few years. I can’t tell if I just know more about it personally or if it’s just out there to be had but I love it and feel like it’s more prevalent now than it was when I was growing up.

It really depends on how you look at it, fantasy as we know it today has the easy benchmark beginning in the 50's with LOTR and didn't really gain widespread popularity for another decade or so.
So certainly the golden age is the recent era, most of my favorite stuff came out in the 90's and some of these series take 10+ years to be completed. Lots of new authors and series being developed and that will only continue with increased popularity as distribution in movies / tv shows lead to a larger audience reading the books and likely a wider range of authors, new types of stories, etc.

I think it is, particularly when you consider the sheer variety in styles that are being produced.
You've got the gritty stuff like Martin, Abercrombie, and Mark Lawrence (among others). You've got high fantasy like Steven Erikson. You've got good urban fantasy like the Dresden files and the iron druid series. You've got good caper based fantasy like Lies of Locke Lamora and Michael J Sullivan's Riyria books. And all others kinds in between.
