This Mississippi Senator Wants Eli Manning Statue Built At Ole Miss

Did more research. Wicker and Archie Manning are members of the same Sigma Nu fraternity at Ole Miss. Wicker is two years younger than Archie, but they were at Ole Miss at the same time. What a shock. But good ol' Archie and his family are humble people who never seek accolades or attention, at least if you ask them and their friends in the media.

I mean, the senator must be friends with Archie. That's the only thing I can figure.

There needs to be a law that prohibits statues of people who haven't died yet. Waaaaay too much hero worship. Saban/Shaq, et al.... We're such an impetuous culture.
