The Ole Miss Rebels got off to a hot start in Week 1 with a 76-0 victory over Furman.

Despite being up 52-0 at halftime, head coach Lake Kiffin made it clear that he was 'adamantly against' a running clock in the 2nd half to speed things up. Per On3:
quote:

“Kyle asked at halftime if we wanted to let the game clock run in the second half so it would be shorter, you know, because of the score. I was adamantly against it because I wanted to see these guys play, you know,” said Kiffin. “They worked really hard. Really got a lot of good players all around, especially the linemen.”

“You know, and the fans that stayed? I wanted them to, you know, get their full value of their ticket,” Kiffin said.

He is such a scumbag. No class whatsoever. His ego wanted to score 100 points on a hapless opponent.

Or, he wanted to get our second and third string units some game reps so we're better prepared for the rest of our schedule?
