Fire him for getting them to the playoffs every year? Losing to the #1 seed on the road in overtime on.a questionable call?

But the Bengals keep their underachieving coach.

Getting to the playoffs isn't the goal. This was THE year to go all the way without Burrow, Mahomes or Jackson in the picture.

At some point you either have to accept being good but not great or make a change. The NFL is too big to accept just making the playoffs as "good enough".

It's a business. Getting to the playoffs every year is very different than winning through the playoffs. Making the playoffs regularly and getting bounced just as regularly has undone more than a few coaches. Hell, it was a big reason that Steelers fans (and probably ownership) were upset with Mike Tomlin.

An “admiral” job? Somebody in the PR staff needs to be fired, too.

He wasn't called the David Robinson of NFL coaches for nothing.

They’ll hand the reins to Joe Brady and Buffalo will look like the Jets by year 2.

Imagine if the dude hiring the new coach knew what a good NFL receiver looked like.

He was fired by the NFL front office after he exposed their sorry azzes by saying the NFL is rigged. Surprise, surprise. And he's right.
