© Jason Getz-USA TODAY Sports
The Saints clinched a playoff spot on Sunday with their win over the Falcons. After the game, QB Taysom Hill said coach Sean Payton recently placed baskets of cheese in the lockers of every player. Here's why...
quote:

Payton’s message, an homage to Payton’s mentor, Bill Parcells: “Don’t eat the cheese. Don’t get into the hype. Keep your heard down. Keep working.”

So what kind of cheese did the players get?

“Everything you can imagine,” Hill said.

I love the Saints, but I do not care enough about this to research it further.

"Don't eat the cheese" but they get baskets of cheese. Are they supposed to eat it or not?

I'm so confused...since the message is don't eat it maybe they can donate to a food bank where middle class people have all of sudden become homeless and are looking to host a get together under an overpass

So are they supposed to eat it and use it to remind themselves? That could have been done with just a block of cheese. That spread looks like a gift that can be a reminder. Maybe this is why I don’t play professional football

“Don’t eat the cheese” is this year’s “bring the wood”.
