"Protect receivers from the knees down". This protecting players is getting out of control. It is football. Where are they supposed to be tackled? Only north of the knee, but below the neck, and they must have made a "football move" before they can be hit and when you make the hit, be sure not to land on them.

No way knee down should be implemented because if you miss as a defender at least will miss low. If you afraid, do not play receiver would be my choice. I mean if we want to be ridiculous like this is getting, fine qb's for putting receivers in bad spots to get destroyed by hanging them out to dry. And if you want to adjust tackling, you have to adjust what the ball carrier can do, like no stiff arms and no hurdles. RB used to know never hurdle but now a lot do cause they know you have to go low.
