Celtics' Jayson Tatum Sounds Ready To Become The New Face Of The Pelicans

Boston Celtics' young star forward Jayson Tatum was brought up during Anthony Davis trade negotiations over last couple of weeks. I'm sure his name will be on the table once again come summer when trade talks resume. According to ESPN’s Tim MacMahon, Tatum isn't afraid to be the face of the Pelicans...
quote:

“It’s gossip, but the gossip is Jayson Tatum wouldn’t mind. Jayson Tatum wouldn’t mind if he’s shipped to New Orleans and has a chance to be the face of the franchise somewhere. Because he’s not going to get that opportunity in Boston, at least not in the immediate future.”
How would you feel about Tatum being the face of the Pelicans for years to come?

It would really be sweet to get Jayson Tatum, Jaylen Brown and a couple of those beautiful first round picks that they have from lottery teams.

I'd like to have him in New Orleans if he'll leave his third-person persona in Boston.

That's a quote from someone else who is talking about Tatum

He's the single most talented player the Pelicans could possibly get in return for Anthony Davis, which is why they didn't make the trade with the Lakers. The Lakers have a lot of decent guys but none close to Tatum.
