UAB killed their football program in 2014. IT was only brought back because of community pressure and donations. Why would anyone think that they really care about the football program?

There is a difference between having a voice and making the decision. The players have a right to be heard with respect. Apparently they feel that has not happened, they took it to a higher authority, which is appropriate. That AD should sit down with them an truly hear them out. Does not mean they get their way, but do not ignore them.
