Les Miles:

Kansas head coach Les Miles doesn't believe players opting out of the season is a safer choice. Topeka Capital-Journal...
quote:

“If they opt out because of the pandemic, then they opt into the pandemic,” Miles said at a news conference. “The last I saw it, the pandemic was worldwide, OK? So I don’t know what their advantage is to turn at this point away from what would be a good finish to a college career and opportunity to advance their abilities and then have a choice whether to go off to the NFL or to stay and compete. So we’d love to have them stay and compete.”

And he is spot on. This disease isn't just in locker rooms. Also, this thing isn't going anywhere. It started with one person. If one person in the world has it it will spread. These players have accessibility to awesome medical care at no cost to them. The bubonic plague is still alive today. We live with it. Live with the flu. Your body fights off billions of harmful bacteria every day. Quit being rooty poo candy asses and get back to work.

I’ll translate it for you: if you opt out of playing football, you’re opting in to the rest of the world who’s dealing with the same virus you’re scared of

Maybe les miles thinks that everyday situations involve people tackling each other and being way up in each other's faces? The "truth" les miles's statement is flawed, bizarre logic that can only come from a football coach.
