So how many number one QB prospects are there in the country? Has this become like winning the Little League “World Series”?

this is going to be hilarious when someone drops 7 figures on a freshman before they play and the player is a huge bust

So, he probably has way more NIL than the actual starter and most of the frickeye players probably have $0 in NIL, yeah that will go well. I watched his state title game last year, I was not impressed and he had a terrible demeanor, like horrible. This kid has bust all over him.

The 5 star recruits are now professional athletes. I wonder how some 18 or 19 year old is going to handle being treated like a pro. The age of the coddled college athlete is over.

I know OSU has a lot of fans to cover this, but I can only think he lost a bunch of his hometown fanbase by leaving them high and dry this season.

Don’t the money launderers know the banks will just do it for you now?

This guy will never take a snap for the Buckeyes. Dude is way too worried about that NIL money. Not focused on football and guys in the locker room are going to get tired of this quickly.

I’m not saying this dude will fail but this stuff will correct itself out when people like him fail. There are lots of 5 star busts every year

@vidic you are 100% correct. I could see someone paying someoe like Trevor Lawrence, Justin Fields or OU qb a lot to do autographs, but this kid just now got on campus. College football is littered with the remains of 5 star and high 4 star QB busts. See Bo Nix, Jayden Daniels, anyone remember Davis Mills and Hunter Johnson- this top 2 rated QBs from 2017. And of course, everyones' favorite bust Tate Martell. These businesses doing these NIL deals for incoming freshman will get smoked a couple times and then tone it down.

I agree there are many 5* QB busts, but Davis Mills? You mean the guy that started at Stanford, completed 65% of his passes, had a 142 rating, and got drafted early 3rd round? Not a bust, bro.
