McKay simply said he was for it when asked about his team’s execution. He did not say he would execute his team. I got it but America is too soft these days

Pretty sure it was Tessitore that immediately bailed him out by providing the context. It's a funny quote, but really stupid to say it without any context to an audience that likely had <50% understand the reference. He kind of butchered the quote anyway.
