The Henderson State Reddies beat Northeastern State RiverHawks, 11-10, in the NCAA Division II Central Region. Northeastern State trailed by four with two outs and the bases loaded when Blaze Brothers hit one to the wall, driving home all three runners. Unfortunately, Brothers was called out at second base. it is very unfortunate but the guy could have gotten up and retreated to first. Going on and assuming the collision would have any bearing on the call at second base is a big big assumption.

In football, the refs are part of the field. Wouldn't it be the same in baseball? For sure the ump was in the wrong but that doesn't mean he is automatically safe at second.

Call might have been blown at 2nd too. Ump should’ve used some common sense and called him safe if it was bang bang. Bc it was only bang bang bc of the retarded umpire in the first place.

So the runner ran into the umpire, not the umpire tackling the runner. Shouldn't have been on the base path though. Shitty way to end the season.

Umpire was trying to move to get into better position and wasn’t paying attention to the base runner, ran right into his path. Imo should’ve given the runner second run scored dead ball.
