Hope they don’t try to beef him up too much. History of heavy, big men over 7’2” in nba doesn’t go well. Short careers because of back, hip, knee, and ankle/foot issues. It’s why I think Wemby might actually have a shot at a 10-15 year career since he’s so agile and flexible.

I can’t imagine all the Karen’s in travel ball yelling to see his birth certificate.

Maybe, but the finals revealed that even Wemby has to bulk up a little or the Spurs have to get someone to bang inside. Good players will use that weight advantage to get the position they need against guys built like that even if they’re taller
