Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James is sending some worthy kids to college for free...
quote:

This is the best video you'll see all day ... nearly 200 students from LeBron James' I Promise school network found out they were getting FREE college tuition.

The junior class from Bron's program was told they were going on a college visit to Kent State University in Northeast Ohio but when they arrived on campus, they got a whole lot more than a tour.

School officials revealed that all 193 kids would have all 4 years of their schooling paid for as well as, 1 free year of room and board.

Very nice of Lebron to give back. I appreciate him putting his money where his mouth is.

If it had worked out for Michael Scott then this would not be that big of a deal. But for real, pretty cool.

Good job Lebron, I hope more of 1% take note of this and do some good. I always thought money going direct like this is way better than paying more taxes

1% is a family income of 400,000 not 40 million

Remember kids, don't get useless degrees from the Liberal Arts like Psychology, Sociology, gender studies...otherwise, congrats!

I don't like LeBron, but this is a great thing he's doing with Kent State.
