Guy proofread it several times, approved it. Then sent to his manager for final approval. Then it was published. Not buying this apology.

When Kim said google Dirty Debutantes at her last press conference, I did (using duckduckgo instead, they don't track you). It is apparently a segment of porn or maybe a site called that, not real sure. I love the name, they prolly get lots of eyeballs. But to call our girls that with 0 knowledge of any of their sex lives...that's a job-losing offense to me.

Well, I see he apologized to UCLA.

frick that fricking
Loser. He was plotting and planning that article for a very long time. His apology isn’t an apology, it’s an attempt to save whatever pieces of a job he has left after the UCLA coach eloquently said his work was garbage

How could he possibly have thought the article would go over well?

So he wants to apologize for shooting someone after he pulled the trigger? He can rot in hell. He knew exactly what he was doing. I'm guessing he already had this apology typed up before he released the article just in case it didn't go over well, which it didn't.

The phrase, "Better to ask for forgiveness than ask for permission" comes to mind.

This guy needs to LOSE HIS JOB for penning this type of RACIST garbage! There is, clearly, a disconnect with him and the L.A. Times for criticism of college athletes!?!

Rosanne was fired for way less. His editor as well. Nothing get published without editor approval so there were at least two liberal idiots responsible for that insane article.

These people need to help accountable for these choice words when they are able to reach millions of people and change minds with those words. The intent was to paint LSU as the bad guy, even evil. I have zero sympathy or respect for someone who took their time, deeply thinking about how to best describe this to as many people as possible. Purposely taking quotes and events out of context to get the desired outcome. When that didn’t happen and it backfired, then he wants to apologize. No frick you POS! Just like the UCLA coach whose team is obviously perfect and would never do anything wrong. Not possible. Yet she storms off the court like a freakn 2 year old. These people are terrible leaders for our young people. Teaching them how to lie when it suits you and how to attempt to destroy another female team when that team is directly responsible for the growth in the game. Why the hell do these idiots feel the need to tear down one school but praise the other? It all sounds racist and sexist. Then we have to listen to these same people preach about these same topics while they participate in it. The East and West coast in the country are so out of touch with reality of others. They simply tell lies to hurt others in any way possible. Its a sickness they have. They truly are sick people. They can stay where they are too!
