ESPN Football analyst Todd McShay predicted Wednesday on "College Football Live" that LSU will make the four-team college playoff, along with Ohio State, Oregon, and TCU.

LSU will never lose to Oregon LOL. One of the best Oregon teams of all time took on LSU in 2011 and got their asses handed to them. And I daresay that 2011 team was more talented and better coached than the 2015 team.

its all over, no need to play the season out, haahaha! IMHO the SEC west is truly wide open this year. LSU does have the D to pull off a title run. Do they have the O? War Eagle and can't wait till kickoff. Been a long offseason!

If LSU has that kind of a season, Buga's Heisman chances will be very very high.

"Why does ESPN love LSU so much?"

It's a trap!

I want to say all they are doing is covering their bases, and it seems that some understand LSU is close enough and situations at Bama/Auburn, are not as peachy as it ssems.

Harris is a first year starting QB, who already has an established defense and run game and OL, and crazy loaded WR/TE corps with experience. Ed O is now the DL coach and LSU has specifically worked on their major issues on defense. Tons of turnover drills, ways to create turnovers, and put emphasis on getting in the backfield. Every year recently, the SEC has had some true freshman pass rush playmakers, and Key fits that bill. Once we get Mills back do people realize just how loaded we become even more in the secondary? It's ridiculous!

Ohio State made the jump one year early. Could LSU?

Its not exactly a stretch... We have a really strong team, with only two "weaknesses": QB and DL/DE, but even then with the addition of Coach O and Steele, things could be very different.

Its not like we do not have the talent at these positions....

Lsu will get it done, and we will be even scarier next year.

ESPN and all their "analysts" are just trying to validate their FPI...where LSU is ranked 3rd.

Oregon is loaded with young talent and a playmaker at QB. They're a contender for sure.

The fact that he has Oregon in there renders his whole opinion null.
