LSU wide receiver Mickey Joseph offered up some high praise for sophomore wide receiver Terrace Marshall during the final stop on the Coaches Caravan on Monday.

Joseph said that Marshall has taken the biggest leap this offseason and is finally healthy enough to speed downfield for deep balls.

Marshall, a former five-star prospect from Bossier City, La., played in 13 games as a true freshman last season, catching 12 passes for 192 yards.

“When the moment gets big, he doesn’t run.” Well someone get him into running shape! Can’t have guys walkin’ in big situations. Sheesh!

“Dee Anderson can catch BBs in the dark.” If he can play every game like he did against Auburn last year, we’ll be in good shape. Dude was unstoppable that game.

Really like hearing the good stuff about the team. I think that quote about catching bb’s in the dark or at night was first used on possibly the greatest receiver of all time-Jerry Rice.

Embarrassment of riches at wideout. That group has so much potential.
