LSU linebacker Whit Weeks knows the Tigers will be walking into a hostile environment Saturday night when they travel to Oxford to face Ole Miss.

Weeks spoke with reporters Tuesday and said he expects the atmosphere at Vaught-Hemingway Stadium to be even more intense than LSU experienced there last season, especially with Lane Kiffin returning to Oxford.

“I bet it’ll be even more rowdy this year than last year,” Weeks said. “We know we’re walking into a hostile environment, but anytime you go on the road in the SEC, it’s like that. It’s a lot of fun, so we’re looking forward to it for sure.”
Kiffin said Monday that he believes the pressure is on Ole Miss this week, but Weeks isn't putting much thought into that storyline.

“Yeah, I think our focus this week is just on us,” Weeks said. “It’s all about us. We’ve got to come in and have a good week of preparation if we want to win the game on Saturday, just like any other week.”
As for the reception Kiffin will receive in his return to Ole Miss, Weeks knows his head coach will hear it from the Rebels' crowd.

“I know he’s gonna get it, and I know they don’t like him up there,” Weeks said. “But he’s prepared for that. I mean, it is what it is. He’s done it before in his career, so I know he’s more prepared than anybody.”
