The Tigers haven’t won a season opener since 2019, and their losing streak could continue with a Week 1 trip to Clemson. The rest of their nonconference schedule is against non-Power 4 opponents, but the SEC schedule could prove challenging.
LSU hosts Florida, South Carolina and Texas A&M in 2025 and has road games at Ole Miss and Alabama. Heading into his fourth year in Baton Rouge, pressure is mounting on Brian Kelly without a playoff appearance to show for his work.
