The hall monitors must have admin'd my last post, so I'll make my point again, this time rated G for all of the people who wear their mask while in their car alone: Of course he's going to be complimentary. He's not gonna say negative stuff things. None of these coaches ever do. Even the absolute turds are complimented about something. This is a non-story other than the fact he played at LSU.

Seems odd he never did anything even with Joe Burrow, glad for him.

Man I remember watching Racey McMath final year at Karr in the State Championship game. McMath dominated the game it was seriously like looking at a man against boys and I was so excited when he committed to LSU. But I believe LSU didn't utilize him correctly but we did have some freakish studs in front of him. And something could be said that the kid stuck it out and didn't transfer and nobody could've blamed him because he would've been a starter if he did. I expect McMath to be a starter for the Titans in year 2.

He just got buried behind several of the greatest receivers we ever had and then that train wreck last year.

One of the tigers I’ll be rooting for most thing year in the league! It’s amazing how blessed we’ve been to have the talent we’ve had come through here.

The big difference in McBath and Jones is character. McBath has high character and will play hard on special teams and continue to improve as a receiver. For a guy like him, playing special teams can be the difference in making the team or not. Russell Shepard would have been out of the NFL in no time if hadn't played hard on special teams till he improved enough as a receiver to get quality playing time there

is misspelling his name some kind of shot against the kid?

I remember Matt Jones (Ark QB) got drafted 1st Rd as a WR because of his potential based on combine measurables. McMath had similar measurables plus WR experience. Based on potential, McMath was a steal in the 6th Rd.

I wish we could’ve done more with him. Kids a great talent! Wish him all the luck in the world!

Obviously I am biased, but I think he should’ve stayed for one more year. I think he really could’ve stood out and been an early round pick. He really flashed at times. He just didn’t have the consistency of some of our other receivers.

It was time for Racey to go get the NFL money, not stay at LSU.

Maybe. However, he’s going to play on a sixth round salary for the next three years with very little if any guaranteed money. If he comes back and his drafted in the second round next year, he would probably make more money (guaranteed) in year one than he will make in his first three years in the league. Now you could argue that he might get hurt away LSU, but he also might get hurt while playing for the Titans. If so, none of his contract is guaranteed and he is shite out of luck.
