What a great speech, especially the money that poured into Athens, OH afterwards. Was proud to donate for Joe. Oh..and seeing JBE not stand up to shake his hand. Weasel.

And, over the weeks that followed, he showed exactly why he deserved that award.

Season of memories!

Being up in New York with a group of friends and being out front and meeting him, among the other candidates and previous winners. Then dashing down to Legends and watching the presentation amongst hundreds of LSU fans will go down as my favorite night in quite a long time. Was awesome being able to see that up close.

Still got all misty eyed watching this again. What a memory!

Damn onions

What an incredible season... we definitely caught lightning in a bottle. Probably one of the greatest, if not the greatest, college football teams of all time. As an LSU fan I feel very lucky and blessed that I was able to witness such an amazing season. The only thing that would’ve made it better is if my father, who passed away two years ago, could have watched it with me.

Can't watch it, brings a tear to my eye every damn time.

After this season, that seemed like a loooooooong time ago...
