Hawthorne was a LSU fan and announcer.

Yes. While Hawthorn was sometimes too emtional, especially on the negative side in his later years he did seem to care. I was just surprised to hear these big plays being called by Blair in a very low key way.

At least Blair knows what game he's calling and who the players are. I have no problem with him.

Let’s hire the Spanish announcer kid- he has passion and certainly seems to care!

Wow! Unbelievably go hum, unemotional dry calls by Chris Blair. Sounds like I’m listening to neutral Westwood one announcers. Seems like he’s about to go to sleep, or put me to sleep. While he may be more professional and certainly less hommer than Hawthorn, he is far less interesting and entertaining to listen to.

He acted like Tolliver’s pick was just a routine play.
