LSU cornerback Donte Jackson ran a 4.32 40-yard dash in his first attempt at the NFL Combine on Monday, which was the fastest time by any player at the event until Tulane's Parry Nickerson and Ohio State's Denzel Ward tied it.

Jackson ran a 4.37 in his second attempt.

A lot of acting goes into route running. If you’re a DB and you bite on a false route, you’re going to get beat no matter how fast you are. If Jackson works on his mental game, he’ll have a long career.
