The Memphis team forming in the Alliance of American Football (AAF) league will feature six former LSU football players on the roster when the circuit launches in early 2019.

Those player are former LSU quarterback Zach Mettenberger, running back Kenny Hilliard, tight end Colin Jeter, defensive end Deondre Clark, linebacker Donnie Alexander and kicker Josh Jasper.

The AAF will be led by former NFL executive Bill Polian and hopes to serve as a developmental league for players who hope to get or make it back to the NFL.

I do too. I'm looking forward to it. Hopefully it's a good alternative to the NFLSJW league.
