Seven LSU Football players were named to the 2017 Coaches’ All-SEC teams with center Will Clapp and linebacker Devin White earning first-team spots.

Offensive lineman Garrett Brumfield, running back Derrius Guice, wide receiver DJ Chark, along with defensive backs Donte Jackson and Andraez “Greedy” Williams earned spots on the second team.

Chark was selected to the second team as a return specialist.

I was surprised that Key was on the 1st team SEC from the A/P. He's not even on the 2nd team from the Coaches, which is probably more accurate given his limited playing time this year. It would be cool if they would also have an SEC 'Offensive' and 'Defensive' MVP as part of these teams.

I believe they have an offensive and defensive player of the year. If so, Devin White would be a shoe in on defense!

They're definitely letting players' NFL potential influence their picks. Kirk had a down year.

Bad QB play screwed him over. I can't see how Ridley got in over J'Mon Moore. Moore has over 1000 yards (only two have more than 1000) Ridley, less than 900. Moore has 10 TDs (only 2 players have double digits TDs), Ridley has three. That's Bama bias.

Noticed that...are we in bizarro world? Seems like Bama's entire starting LB unit typically gets an automatic spot on these teams.

Greedy not being 1st team is a job. The kid should be 1st team all American .
