No. 11 LSU will kick off the Lane Kiffin era Saturday night with a marquee matchup against Clemson in Tiger Stadium.

The two programs have met just five times, with LSU holding a 4-1 advantage in the all-time series. That includes last year's season opener at Clemson, when LSU went on the road and knocked off the No. 4-ranked Tigers, 17-10. LSU also beat Clemson 42-25 in the 2019 National Championship Game, while Clemson's lone victory in the series came in the 2012 Chick-fil-A Bowl.

Saturday's matchup will mark Clemson's first-ever trip to Baton Rouge and the second half of the home-and-home series that began last season.

Who were the pinheads that predicted clemson by +20. That was never happening with LSU's defense. That was the one area of this team that there weren't many concerning questions on. So, will you come forward and man up! HaHa.......didn't think so.
