Famous LSU alum and current football analyst Ryan Clark wants nothing to do with a possible rematch between the Tigers and Alabama in the College Football Playoff.

Here's what Clark had to say about it on Wednesday's episode of 'Get Up,' according to The Spun:
quote:

“Every time you put them in there, when people don’t think they’re supposed to be there, they stinkin’ win it! I don’t want (LSU) to play them again. We did what we had to do. We went to Tuscaloosa and we won it. Let us live. Let us have our shine. Geaux Tigers.”

I think beating Clemson and/or Ohio State is just as hard as beating Bama again. I’d almost rather play Bama again

Nothing would be more sweet than to beat them twice in one season.

Yeah, it's BS, they don't win their division or the conference, they don't deserve in the CFP's. It's just that simple!

I notice that the media that is pushing to get them in is basing it all on the mythical eye test. Nobody is trying to push them in based on their accomplishments. Their schedule and W-L record does not allow them in on merit.

Clark doesn't need to be scared. this lsu team is better than bama.

Had LSU lost to Bama, they wouldn't even be in the playoff conversation. That's what sickens me the most! We beat Texas, Florida, and Auburn! All in the top 10 at the time. The last relevant game Bama had ( prior to LSU) they got embarrassed! Clemson show the country that Bama didn't deserve to be there last year. LSU showed the country that Bama doesn't deserve to be there this year! But here we are! Saban is begging for a pass and analysis like Finebaum eager to get them in! SMFH...

Bama doesn't have the VIP pass anymore. Clemson slapped them down and took it away from them. RTW?FU

Is alabama one of the top four teams in the nation? Yes. Do they deserve to go to the playoff? No. But do I want to face them again? You bet your sweet arse I do, cause I want to beat them and watch them cry when it means even more.

No thanks.

The campaign is on by the Updyke alum in the media to try to get them put in the playoffs. No way that they deserve to be there. Their players are bought and paid for, and they should be ineligible anyway

You can't win, Ryan. They will say LSU is chicken if they don't to play them again. Saban has to nourish his ego. They have it all worked out from the last second on the clock.

Unlike 2011, we actually have a bunch of high profile mouthpieces in media driving our point home. In 2011/2012, all you heard was Saban campaigning, Notre you’ll hear both sides. And I think our side will win that argument. And I think if we are fated to play those cocksuckers again I bet we beat the brakes off of them.

I wonder if Ed Orgeron was head coach of Alabama if the media would be pushing as hard to get Bama in the CFP?...one word... SABAN...

The way to fix this situation is to make the teams in this situation co-champions provided they both win one game. The committee will try to avoid this situation if the team the one the first meeting is guaranteed a share of the title even if they lose the championship game. If you want to get crazy you can have them play best of three.
