Following LSU's 63-28 victory over Oklahoma in the Peach Bowl, President Donald Trump called head coach Ed Orgeron to congratulate him on the win, according to Ross Dellenger with Sports Illustrated.

On Tuesday, Orgeron the news.
quote:

Donald Trump phoned the Tigers third-year coach Monday, several sources told Sports Illustrated, presumably to congratulate him on his team’s 63–28 victory over the Sooners in the Peach Bowl. The win propelled No. 1 seed LSU (14–0) to the national championship game against No. 3 Clemson (14–0) on Jan. 13 in New Orleans. It is not clear if the president plans to attend the game. He appeared at the 2017 national championship game, when Alabama stormed back to beat Georgia in overtime.

Details of the conversation between Orgeron and Trump remain private. Messages left with both White House and LSU spokespeople were not returned.

Your tolerant, loving, liberal attitude, as well as the usual liberal inability to look at facts and results and abdicate your ability to educate yourself to CNN and MSNBC, is always fun to see. Trump thanks you for being another reason that he will be back in 2020

Rumor has it Trump is looking for a new Secretary of State. Is the timing just coincidental?

Even as ridiculous as that sounds, it would not surprise me.

Needs a new speaker of the house. The current one in Pelosi has dimentia and not right in the head.

O should ask him to make him the president. That guy cannot hire a decent personal lawyer. Cannot find a tax attorney who can resolve his audit after four years. O on the other hand hired someone who could help improve his program. Hope T gives O his resignation.

He's a team player that loves his country. Thankful he's not selling us out like previous administrations. First president to not go to war since, what, the 80s?

Trump is an attention Ho. Screwed up USFL when he overpaid for a team. Wanted to stab USFL in the back for an NFL team. Pete Rozell asked him to F Off. Guy does not know football. Jerry Jones would look at him and not want his losing ways in the NFL. Hope he buys an XFL team in Bama and retires there.
