LSU will reportedly meet with Pittsburg offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach Matt Canada this week, according to multiple sources.
Canada, who runs a pro-style offense at Pitt, has emerged as a top candidate for LSU's offensive coordinator position now that Alabama OC Lane Kiffin was named head coach at FAU on Monday. Per NOLA.com:
Other candidates in the mix for the LSU OC job include former Oregon head coach Mark Helfrich, and former USC coach Steve Sarkisian.

Canada was one of five finalists, and the only offensive coordinator, for the Broyles Award, which goes to nation's top assistant coach. Pittsburgh averaged school record 42.3 points per game this season.
Canada coached the previous three seasons at North Carolina State but was fired after the 2015 season. With Jacoby Brissett at quarterback under Canada, the Wolfpack averaged 33.2 points per game in 2015. Brissett passed or 5,268 yards with 43 touchdowns and 11 interceptions in two seasons at North Carolina State after transferring from Florida.
Other candidates in the mix for the LSU OC job include former Oregon head coach Mark Helfrich, and former USC coach Steve Sarkisian.
