Report: LSU TE Jamal Pettigrew Suffers ACL Injury, Could Miss 2018 Season

It has been reported that LSU sophomore tight end Jamal Pettigrew will miss the 2018 season after suffering an ACL knee injury. 247Sports first reported the news, according to The Advocate:

Citing a source familiar with the injury, the website reported that Pettigrew, a 6-foot-7, 262-pound tight end, suffered a knee injury that is "believed" to involve the ACL.
Surgery is likely the next step, which would sideline Pettigrew for the entire 2018 season.
