Brian Kelly is expected to hire former LSU defensive lineman Jermauria Rasco as an analyst on his staff, according to Football Scoop.

quote:

Sources tell FootballScoop that Rasco is returning to Baton Rouge in a defensive analyst role for Brian Kelly's program.

He spent the past two seasons at Louisiana as the Ragin' Cajuns director of player development.

Before taking the job at Louisiana, Rasco spent five seasons in an analyst role at Arizona.
The Shreveport, La. native played at LSU from 2011 to 2014 and appeared in 48 games with 26 starts. Rasco was a free agent pickup by the Green Bay Packers following the 2015 NFL Draft.

Gonna be paying way more attention now than at those other stops.

Not only underrated but what I remember most about Rasco was how hard he competed every snap. Great to not only have him back but having a guy with that work ethic around the players will benefit them tremendously

I played Jermauria Rasco in middle school vs Evangel middle school. In 6th grade, he was already over 6 foot and prob 200 lbs vs a bunch of 5' 95 lb kids. There was one play where one of our RB's took a toss to the sideline and he of course was DE from opposite side of field, tracked him down, and threw him out of bounds with him going OB too. He landed on one of our cheerleaders, Jordan Davis, country singer, little sister. She ended up breaking her leg and was in cast for months.

Not that he's a bad guy. I actually talked to him again at a party senior year of HS he was at. Was a nice guy.
