Original:
Jimmy Smith with NOLA.com is reporting that LSU senior quarterback Danny Etling suffered a lower back injury during a recent scrimmage.

With Etling sidelined with an injury, LSU's backup quarterback behind starter Brandon Harris is now true freshman Lindsey Scott who was listed at No. 3 ahead of Justin McMillan on the depth chart.
quote:

Junior Brandon Harris is the starter for the 2016 season, but Etling was the only backup with college playing experience. Multiple sources have confirmed that freshman Lindsey Scott Jr. has moved ahead of redshirt freshman Justin McMillan, and would be called on if Harris was sidelined for any given reason.

Is a catch in the get along the same as a hitch in the giddyup?

He "suffered a 'catch in his get along?'" That sounds like a pulled muscle in the groin or lower back. If that's the case he should be good to go in a week or so.
